About The Position
Oldenburg Academy, a Franciscan Catholic, college preparatory high school with a nearly 175-year tradition of academic excellence, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Language Arts Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school committed to Virtue, Honor, and Education while inspiring students through literature, writing, and meaningful dialogue. The Language Arts Teacher will teach English courses in grades 9 and 10, as well as Senior English Literature. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills while fostering a deep appreciation for literature and integrating Catholic Franciscan values into instruction.
