About The Position

APHIX, LLC is seeking 50 Landscaping Workers for permanent, full-time employment in Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves landscaping and maintaining the grounds of commercial and residential properties throughout the year, utilizing various hand and power tools. Workers will be responsible for a range of tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and snow removal, with on-the-job training provided.

Requirements

• Ability to operate landscaping hand and power tools including lawnmowers, edgers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license for transportation to job sites.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Knowledge of plant care and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Landscape and maintain grounds of commercial and residential properties.
• Mow, trim, edge, spread dirt, rake, mulch, fertilize, pull weeds, and aerate lawns.
• Set up irrigation and drainage systems.
• Work on mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
• Lay sod, plant, and prune flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Load and unload landscaping materials and tools, keeping them clean.
• Perform winter rejuvenation pruning for shrubs and plants.
• Seed/overseed lawns and adjust irrigation systems for winter months.
• Remove debris, dead leaves, bushes, and limbs from properties.
• Remove snow from properties using shovels, snow blowers, and skid steers with plow attachments.
• Spread salt and/or apply liquid de-icing on sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots.
