About The Position

The Landscaping Employee is responsible for assuring that all Lagoons planters. Grass areas, and gardens are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Landscaping Employees perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting ,watering, trimming, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, digging, raking, sweeping, sprinkler installation, and garbage clean up. This position is seasonal. Seasonal employees perform their work at certain seasons and periods of the year. Their work, by its nature, is not continuous nor is it carried on throughout the year. A seasonal employee who is employed at the conclusion of the season will be terminated.

Requirements

Able to stand and/or walk up to eight (8) hours.
Able to move equipment which would include pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting.
Able to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, including shoveling dirt, lift and throwing shovels of dirt, gravel, ground bark, sand, etc.
Able to work around trees, shrubs, lawns, and flowers with no severe allergies.
Able to work effectively independently as well as in a group.
Employees must be 18 years or older to operate riding mowers and vehicles.
