Manvel TX 77578 The Position: We are seeking a full-time/year-round Laborer to be responsible for performing a variety of landscape tasks using hand tools and other equipment.

Requirements

Legal authorization to work in the United States required.
Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site.

Nice To Haves

Safe driving record & ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report "MVR" is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation and maintenance of landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, sod installation, and irrigation.
Operate hand tools and basic power equipment safely and effectively.
Lay sod, plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake, and install plants, trees, and sprinklers.
Perform duties such as pulling weeds, watering, removing trash, trimming, mowing, raking, edging, pruning, hedging, and blowing leaves and debris using different pieces of landscape equipment.
Follow instructions from crew leaders or supervisors to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
Prepare plants and trees for winter to prevent freeze damage and perform yard maintenance, including drainage management.
Perform winter landscaping tasks such as planting hollies, evergreens, and seasonal winter flowers.
Organize, prepare, and install holiday décor, including ornaments, seasonal arrangements, string lights, and displays, and remove décor after the season.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while working on job sites.
