About The Position

Crystal Springs Resort is looking for a Landscaping Foreman. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing, executing and maintaining upscale residential or commercial landscaping projects. Must have an eye for detail & previous experience managing a team. Interested in hands on applicants that can not only lead a team, but are looking to "get their hands dirty" with the team!

Responsibilities

Strategize monthly maintenance task list and calendar with Superintendent and then prioritize tasks
Establish a weekly schedule that ensures that we keep up with routine procedures such as watering, weeding, pruning and plant removal.
Assign or oversee resources for the most efficient execution of both special tasks and routine procedures
Prevent overgrowth, weed infestation, and poor aesthetics in high profile areas at all times
Perform weekly landscaping checklist
Enhance the maintenance calendar as more comprehensive planning tool – research landscape management software
Monitor irrigation system and coordinate improvements with superintendents and assistant superintendents
Identify and implement better horticultural practices, faster methodologies, and improved labor efficiencies
Develop the skill sets, productivity, and versatility of our landscaping team members
Establish a game plan for defending against invasive species within beds, on turf areas, and in native grass areas
Oversee and/or assist with special projects – utilizing your planning, equipment operating, carpentry and other technical skills
Elevate our overall Resort’s landscaping program to an elite level.
