About The Position

Anakeesta is an award-winning theme park located in Gatlinburg, TN, offering unique outdoor experiences at the top of the Smoky Mountains. The company is seeking Landscapers to join its team, responsible for keeping the seventy-acre park grounds in pristine condition. This position involves working with an exceptional team of professional landscape personnel, with responsibilities typically performed early in the day before guests arrive.

Requirements

18 years of age or older
Able to work in all-weather conditions including wet and damp areas, extreme heat and wind
Available to work primarily early mornings including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Prepares planting beds.
Places flowers and bulbs with fertilizer as directed.
Operates vehicles and power equipment, such as mowers, snow blowers, chain saws, weed eater, pressure cleaner, driving Kawasaki Mule, gator, and truck.
Performs pruning, tree and shrub trimming.
Maintain and repair tools, equipment, greenhouses, fences, and benches.
Uses shovel to remove or plant flowers, shrubs, trees, etc.
Trims trees and removes debris as necessary.
Waters plants, prepares and replaces sprinkler heads and broken pipes.
Mix and spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
Provides proper care of walkways, drive areas, patio areas, and trails.
Other duties as assigned.
