Requirements

• Previous landscaping experience is required
• Exceptional customer services skills

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, weeding, trimming shrubs, and maintaining flower beds to ensure the campus's overall appearance is neat and well kept
• Watering and fertilizing plants, trees, and flowers to promote healthy growth and vibrant landscaping
• Inspecting trees for signs of disease or damage and performing pruning necessary to ensure safety and health
• Planting seasonal flowers and foliage to enhance the campus's visual appeal and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Keeping outdoor areas free from litter and empty trash bins to maintain a clean and pleasant environment
• Keeping pathways and walkways clear of obstacles and identify any areas in need of repair
• During autumn months, assist in leaf blowing, raking, and removal necessary to maintain a safe and clean environment
• During winter months, assist in snow and ice removal from walkways, driveways and common areas to ensure safety
• Performing other duties to support the effective operations of the landscaping department
