About The Position

The Fun Spot America Landscaper is responsible for overseeing the park’s grounds to ensure it looks clean and presentable for our guests to enjoy! Duties trimming shrubbery, overseeing the installation of flowers/trees, and keeping the park’s cleanliness and image to the highest standard. Requirements

2 years of verifiable experience in landscaping.
Must have a driver’s license to drive equipment.
Working knowledge of basic mechanical principles and equipment such as operating machinery, mowers, leaf blowers, etc.
Ability to follow all safety guidelines and precautions.
Communicate effectively and appropriately with all guests, co-workers, and management.
Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work independently, and have a positive attitude.
Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout the entire work shift and climbing/ascending heights, if needed.
Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and chemicals.
Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Park’s drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.

Responsibilities

Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness of the interior of the park.
Assist in mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawns.
Weeding, and mulching landscape.
Removing and trimming trees, bushes, and shrubs
Plant bushes, flowers, and trees.
Water trees, flowers, and gardens.
Monitor and maintain plant health.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on all landscaping equipment.
Keep all records and documentation updated daily, accessible, and organized.
Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
Remove snow, ice, and leaves as needed from the park’s grounds.
Assist the maintenance team with other tasks and duties as needed.
