About The Position

The Landscaper - Helper at Christian Health is responsible for assisting the Lead Groundskeeper in maintaining the appearance of the grounds and performing various maintenance tasks. This full-time position involves operating machinery, mowing lawns, trimming edges, and assisting with snow removal, while also demonstrating a commitment to the organization's mission of providing exceptional care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum six (6) months lawn care service experience preferred.
• One (1) year experience as a maintenance helper preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanically developed.

Nice To Haves

• Secondary education in Horticulture desirable.
• Ability to obtain CDL within the first 12 months of employment at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Groundskeeper with the maintenance of the grounds appearance.
• Mow the lawn and operate required machinery and tools.
• Trim sidewalk and driveway edges.
• Perform general maintenance tasks during the off-season.
• Trim hedges, plant and trim trees, and maintain flowerbeds and shrubs.
• Rake leaves and assist with snow removal.
• Make minor repairs such as plumbing and light bulb replacement.
• Move furniture and other related equipment from buildings on grounds.
