About The Position

A & S Landscaping, Inc. is seeking to hire 21 Landscape Workers for a temporary, full-time seasonal role. The position will run from March 1, 2025, to December 20, 2025, and involves various landscaping tasks across multiple worksites in Pennsylvania. Workers will be compensated at a rate of $17.75 per hour, with potential for overtime pay. The job requires physical labor and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
• Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating materials
• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs
• No minimum education requirement
• On-the-job training available
• Must be available for the entire employment period and work throughout all areas of intended employment

Responsibilities

• Cut grass (mow)
• Weeding
• Rake leaves
• Trim hedges, shrubs, and trees
• Weeding beds
• Install and spread mulch, topsoil, and stone
• Plant trees, shrubs, grass, and flowers
• Perform other related Landscape Worker activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011
