About The Position
The Temecula KOA at Vail Lake is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our outdoor landscaping team. Nestled in the picturesque Southern California landscape, surrounded by a grove of oak trees, our campground is a year-round destination that offers camping experiences close to the Temecula wine country, Vail Lake, and extensive mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking trails. Our mission is to provide an exceptional camping experience for our guests, which is achieved through outstanding customer service and a commitment to maintaining the natural beauty of our surroundings. We are looking for team members who enjoy engaging with guests, working in a dynamic environment, and contributing to the creation of lasting memories for families visiting our campground. The position requires a commitment to ensuring that our guests receive a high level of service that aligns with our customer service philosophy. Team members will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety of both guests and campground property through vigilant observation and proactive measures. Additionally, the role involves enforcing campground policies and implementing solutions that align with the park's goals. The landscaping responsibilities include maintaining the campground's aesthetic appeal through tasks such as trimming and shaping shrubs, trees, and plants, as well as removing unwanted weeds and debris. Team members will also be responsible for the safe and proper use of landscaping tools and equipment, maintenance and repair of the irrigation system, and planting and transplanting various flora as directed. This position is full-time, requiring 32-40 hours per week, with a schedule from Friday to Tuesday, 7 am to 3 pm, although hours may vary based on the park's specific needs.
