About The Position

Landscape Technician Hoffman Development is seeking a full-time year-round Landscape Technician! We take great pride in the appearance and upkeep of our locations and are looking for an experienced landscape enthusiast to join our team. All aspects of greenhouse work: potting, watering, transplanting, and plant maintenance. Landscape work: soil modification, tilling, planting flowers, trees, and shrubs, mulching, pruning, watering, clean up, weeding, and deadheading, grading and site prep, hardscape and retaining wall work, working with irrigation systems. Work independently and with fellow staff members in maintaining Hoffman properties.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid NY State driver’s license.
Able to lift 50 lbs. from ground to 4 ft.; stoop and lift 30 lbs. from ground to overhead; bend, reach, lift, and climb ladders.
Planting and landscape installs.
Pruning trees and shrubs.
Grading and site prep knowledge.
Irrigation experience.
Hardscape and retaining wall work.
Operate and haul equipment (skid steer, tractor and excavator).

Responsibilities
