Landscape Garden Centers, a family owned company with over 40 years of providing excellent services in Sioux Falls and surrounding areas, has an opening for Landscape Team Member Are you a hardworking, detail oriented, project focused individual who enjoys interacting with people? A typical day at work includes, but is not limited to, completing landscaping duties or maintain properties using hand or power tool equipment. Team members will typically perform various tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Gather and remove litter. Use hand tools such as rakes, shovels, pruning saws, saws, hedge, bush trimmers, or axes. Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axels, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chainsaws , estimating and managing projects in accordance with the organization's Missions and Values, and maintaining client data files through the lifecycle of the project Physical Demands and Work Environment: Exposure to outdoor environment included but not limited to cold, heat, sun, rain, and wind. Extended and abnormal hours required from time to time. Will have times of extensive standing and lifting. Must be able to lift 50 pounds with bending and/or twisting. Travel within market served.
