Join the Walmart Home Office Landscape Team as a landscape supervisor to play a key role in ensuring the beautification of the Walmart Campus. Spend your time working outside, alongside a team, with the common goal of providing a clean, safe, and beautiful space for our fellow associates and community.

  • Planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing landscaping operations according to established standards.
  • Organizing the work and communicating to the team of daily sequence of tasks, directives, and procedures to be accomplished.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of established garden plants and the requirements to maintain plant growth and cultivation.
  • Monitoring plant health, identifying pests or diseases, and implementing appropriate maintenance and care practices to ensure the long-term vitality and attractiveness of landscapes.
  • Oversees and completes the mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, cultivating, fertilizing, watering, and pruning of flowers, plants, and trees.
  • Manages, supervises, and assigns tasks to internal direct reports and third-party vendors involved in horticultural and landscaping activities.
  • Develops and monitors the completion of periodic maintenance schedules.
  • Operates and maintains equipment such as weed eater, edger, mower, blower, chainsaw, or skid steer for landscaping as needed.
  • Responding to alerts/work orders from our ticketing systems.
  • Assisting with snow/ice removal during the winter season.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for landscape team through hiring and promotions.
  • Coordinate and engage onboarding process for current and new associates, including training, mentoring, establishing performance expectations, assigning duties, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • 3-5 years of landscaping/horticulture experience.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience as crew leader or supervisor.
  • Arkansas Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional.
  • Associate's degree in horticulture or related area.
