About The Position

The Landscape Project Manager will oversee landscape and hardscape projects, ensuring that plans are executed effectively and meet the necessary standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including city officials and contractors, to ensure project milestones are met and that the right plants are selected for the local environment. The position requires a strong background in landscaping and supervisory experience to manage project teams and contractors effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of landscaping experience
• 3+ years of additional experience in a supervisory role
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to traverse various landscapes
• Landscape architect seal
• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related degree
• Experience working on FDOT projects

Responsibilities

• Review and make recommendations for landscape and hardscape plans
• Track and communicate key projected milestones to relevant internal departments and external stakeholders
• Assist project managers in working with civil engineers and landscape architects for plan clarification and revisions
• Ensure contractors put in plants that will thrive in the grow zone and make recommendations on low-maintenance plants
• Develop contract scopes and bid packages
• Assist in managing the bid, review and award process
• Work with arborist to develop maintenance plans
• Other duties as assigned
