About The Position

Position Overview: Salsbery Brothers Landscaping is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hard working Nursery team member to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a hands on roll in unloading, sorting, and maintaining plant material and hard goods at our landscape nursery. You will ensure our landscape and maintenance crews have easy access to the materials they need to effectively and efficiently complete their assigned jobs, while contributing to the smooth running of our nursery operations. Position Responsibility: Assist with periodic inventory counts. Assist with loading trucks and trailers for landscape and maintenance crews. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe nursery environment Follow all health and safety procedures Operate nursery tools and equipment safely and efficiently (watering systems, utility vehicles, pruning shears and bobcats. Help unload the delivery of plant materials, hard goods, and other landscape materials. Participate with seasonal tasks such as mulching, weeding, planting, etc. at the nursery. Work with team members to meet nursery goals and maintain a high standard. On occasion, pick up and deliver materials to jobsites or back to nursery. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Coursework or certification in horticulture or a related field is an asset. previous experience in a landscape nursery, garden center, or horticulture role preferred, but willingness to learn is valued most. Previous experience skid steer loaders if preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50-100lbs, bending, standing for long periods Ability to adapt to working in all weather conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not mandatory. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential. Valid Drivers License. Position Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
