About The Position
Utah State University Extension's Utah Botanical Center seeks applications for a part-time landscape/maintenance employee responsible for the overall general ground's maintenance.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the methods and practices used in grounds maintenance and landscaping
- Working knowledge of the various types of equipment and tools used in ground's maintenance and landscaping
- Possession of a valid Utah Driver's License for essential job responsibilities, such as driving university vehicles and transporting equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions or work assignments
- Productive worker with solid work ethic who exerts effort in successfully completing tasks
- Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn new skills or techniques
