About The Position

If you answered yes to these questions, you might be who we are seeking for our Landscape Maintenance Technician role at Lowney’s Landscaping Center! A Landscape Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overall turf health and neat appearance on customer’s properties throughout a typical growing season. You will also have opportunities to work on weed eradication, shrub/tree pruning, annual/perennial installation and care, mulch top-dressing, pond care, one day makeovers, planting procedures and insect and disease prevention. As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include performing spring and fall clean-ups, weeding on planting beds, and caring for perennial plants including deadheading, seasonal cutbacks, and plant division for size control. You will also be involved in small tree and shrub care, which includes renewal pruning, dead wooding, structural pruning, and shaping with hand and power tools. It is essential to effectively use the required tools and equipment for each task given, make great decisions based on weather conditions and the season of the year, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
