The Budd Group is searching for a seasoned Landscape Maintenance Manager to lead our commercial landscaping operations in Charlotte, NC. You’ll be the driving force behind our field operations, spending 70-80% of your time where the action is—in the field, with your crews. You'll use your deep industry knowledge to solve problems, ensure quality, and build a team that’s second to none.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in commercial landscape maintenance.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented leader who can take ownership of a large-scale operation.
  • A minimum of a two-year degree or at least three years of hands-on experience in landscape maintenance.
  • A valid driver's license and meet the company's driving standards.
  • A valid North Carolina pesticide license or commitment to obtaining one with support.

Responsibilities

  • Mentoring a High-Performing Team: You will lead, hire, and train foremen and crews, building a team that is consistent, efficient, and dedicated to delivering the highest quality work.
  • Strategic Planning and Oversight: Use your experience to map out jobs, create robust systems, and optimize work orders and employee schedules to ensure seamless, long-term operations.
  • Driving Innovation and Efficiency: Help your team adopt new technologies and improve processes to enhance our service delivery and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Managing Resources and Logistics: Take charge of vehicle and equipment servicing, inventory management, and overall shop organization to keep the entire operation running smoothly.
  • Upholding Our Commitment to Safety: You will be the champion for safety, leading training and ensuring every team member adheres to our strict company guidelines.
