Lead a small crew of landscape technicians and keep jobs moving safely and efficiently Perform weekly maintenance: mow, trim, edge, and blow for clean, healthy properties Maintain beds and plants: mulch, weeding, pruning, and seasonal spring/fall cleanups Assist with installs as needed: plant trees/shrubs, lay sod, and help with basic hardscape work Operate and maintain equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers) and keep trucks/tools organized Load, transport, and unload materials/equipment at job sites Communicate with customers on-site and provide updates when needed Support snow removal in winter (on-call/as needed) Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 6:30 AM-3:30 PM Work with a family-owned, faith-based company that values reliability, community, and quality work SM Lawn Care LLC specializes in residential and commercial landscaping, lawn mowing, lawn treatment, and snow removal services. Our Ideal Landscape Maintenance Lead: Experience: Knowledge of landscape maintenance, or eagerness to learn; valid driver's license with a clean record for 2 years; comfortable driving trucks and trailers and handling equipment safely. Friendly & Good Communicator: Greets customers with a smile, explains services clearly, and keeps them updated when needed. Team Player: Works well with others, stays positive, and knows how to get along with different people. Dependable & Punctual: Shows up on time and consistently delivers quality work. Attention to Detail: Someone who carefully completes every task, doing the job well. Active: Comfortable working outside in any weather, lifting up to 50 lbs., and using lawn care tools safely.
