About The Position

The Landscape Laborer position at Earthworks Inc involves performing various landscaping and groundskeeping tasks at multiple worksites throughout the Houston area. The role is temporary and full-time, requiring physical labor and the use of hand and power tools to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. Workers will be responsible for tasks such as laying sod, mowing, planting, and maintaining equipment, with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass a post-employment criminal background check, paid by employer.
• Must be able to work a 5-day work schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment.
• Lay sod, mow, trim, plant, weed, water, and dig holes with a shovel.
• Spread grass seed, fertilizer, and mulch.
• Install and repair sprinklers and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
• Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Drive company truck to transport crews, plants, materials, and tools to/from worksites.

• Basic wage rate of $16.91 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and performance.
