About The Position

Focal Pointe Outdoor Solutions, Inc. is seeking to hire 52 Landscape Laborers for a temporary, full-time position in Caseyville, Illinois. The role involves various landscaping tasks, including mowing, watering, and installing sprinklers, with a focus on physical labor and outdoor work. The position is set to start on February 10, 2025, and will conclude on November 10, 2025.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience with landscaping tasks such as mowing, planting, and weeding.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in landscaping or similar outdoor work.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and installation.

Responsibilities

• Mow, cut, water, and edge lawns.
• Rake and blow leaves.
• Dig holes using hand tools for sprinkler installation and planting, with a maximum depth/width of 4 feet.
• Pull and chop weeds, prune, and haul topsoil and mulch.
• Assist with sprinkler installation and the installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
• Demonstrate tasks to other employees as needed, without supervising others.
• Load and unload tools, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
