Landscape Irrigation Supervisor
About The Position
HLS Landscape is a leading commercial landscaping company proudly serving property managers, business owners, and developers throughout the Greater Houston area. Specializing in professional lawn care, landscape maintenance, and irrigation solutions, we focus on enhancing the curb appeal and functionality of commercial properties—including office parks, retail centers, industrial sites, and multi-family communities. The Irrigation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing irrigation crews and coordinating daily operations to ensure efficient and high-quality irrigation services across commercial properties. This role focuses on crew leadership, scheduling, and job coordination while supporting operations through estimating irrigation repair work and ensuring projects are completed on time. The Irrigation Supervisor serves as a key point of communication between field crews, management, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly and meet company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial irrigation or landscaping irrigation required
- Leadership or crew supervision experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs when needed
- Valid Texas driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Irrigation Technician License (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support irrigation technicians and crew members in the field
- Assign daily tasks and monitor job progress to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Train crew members on company procedures and irrigation service standards
- Enforce safety procedures and company policies on all job sites
- Coordinate irrigation service schedules across multiple commercial properties
- Ensure crews have the proper tools, materials, and equipment before arriving on-site
- Communicate with operations managers regarding job timelines and resource needs
- Monitor job completion and maintain accurate service records
- Assess irrigation systems and provide estimates for repairs or improvements
- Communicate repair needs and recommendations to management and clients
- Maintain professional communication with property managers and customers
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve irrigation efficiency across properties
