About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Landscape Equipment Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain our company’s vehicles, trailers, and landscaping machinery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to diagnose and repair both small engines and light-duty trucks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a small engine, automotive, or diesel mechanic (landscaping or construction equipment a plus)
• Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics
• Own a set of basic tools (specialty tools provided)
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable, organized, and safety-focused

Nice To Haves

• landscaping or construction equipment a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a variety of landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, compact loaders, etc.)
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Keep accurate maintenance records and parts inventory
• Ensure all equipment is safe, clean, and field-ready
• Occasionally assist with equipment setup and transport
