About The Position

The Landscape Enhancements Manager will oversee and manage landscape enhancement projects for our residential clients in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. These projects include work orders outside of our design/build departments, and can include landscape installations, special prunings, masonry repairs, deer fencing, plant buying and more! This role requires strong project management skills, landscape industry knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and team members.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the landscape or a related industry
  • Proven experience in managing multiple crews and jobs simultaneously
  • Ability to read landscape plans and execute installations according to specifications
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members, clients, and vendors
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to offer solutions when faced with challenges
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with landscape industry software

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, supervise, hire, and train work order crews
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team and Property Managers to plan and execute landscape enhancement projects
  • Provide daily updates and communications to ensure project progress and client satisfaction
  • Communicate with clients verbally and through email to address any concerns, provide updates, and ensure clear expectations
  • Act as a working manager, actively participating in landscape enhancement projects
  • Manage the purchasing of materials and inventory for projects
  • Conduct safety meetings with crews on a bi-weekly basis
  • Assist with winter operations, such as snow plowing, winter pruning, holiday décor, and site visits
  • Contribute to budgeting efforts for equipment, trucks, and staffing needs
  • Report directly to the Branch Director
