Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven Landscape Designer in Nashville, TN. As a member of our Land Design/Landscape Architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include planning, design, preparation of construction plans, planting plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates and permit applications. Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College.
• Licensure preferred or planning and working toward licensure/PLA.
• 0-3 years of experience in Land Design Experience and capability to lead LA Design required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational and client service skills.
• Previous internship in LA field preferred.
• The ability to work a regular schedule of 730AM - 530PM Mon-Thurs and 730AM - 1130AM Fri with occasional evenings and weekend work.
• Must submit a portfolio that accurately represents experience and understanding of the design process to include built projects photos, presentation graphics and other design materials that represent skill set.
