About The Position

The Landscape Designer position is a developmental landscape architectural position working under direct supervision to support a project team by designing a portion of projects and addressing landscape architectural issues for various projects. In this role, an employee will be expected to develop and demonstrate proficiency in regard to the essential functions of the job found below.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 0-4 years of experience with the design of landscape architecture projects.
  • Advanced understanding of AutoCAD, AdobeCS, Technical Writing, Revit, Lumion, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AutoCAD and related software to complete assignments on time and within prescribed standards as outlined in the RVi Quality Assurance Quality Control manual and established standards.
  • Provide additional support including drafting documents and computations.
  • Participate in the design process including understanding of the industry standard conceptual through construction administration design phases.
  • Prepare opinions of probable costs.
  • Develop project schedules.
  • Prepare construction-related service.
  • Complete edits and modify plans as reviewed by agencies, municipalities, and clients as directed.
  • Complete site visits as required.
  • Communicate with Project Manager on workload status, schedule, and tasks in order to meet designated chargeability goals.
