Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of landscape design experience; 7-10 years preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Thorough understanding of the complete landscape architecture design process.
• Ability to create high-quality digital landscape plans.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and eco-friendly design principles.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Sketchup.
• Experience with WOCOLS and irrigation design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce various designs and sketches for outdoor spaces.
• Conduct site design and construction management.
• Research materials and coordinate with consultants and clients.
• Prepare schematic and construction level drawings including hardscape and planting design.
• Review design development, construction documents, and specifications for quality control.
• Navigate California building codes and local municipality zoning ordinances.
• Manage project timelines and complexities, ensuring the team stays on track.
• Engage in continual development and improvement of design and management systems.
