About The Position
The position involves performing landscaping duties such as mowing, edging, weeding, spraying, hedge trimming, watering, cleaning, restoration planting, transporting, and fertilizing shrubs, plants, and trees. The incumbent will operate general lawn equipment and participate in the maintenance of beautified areas, which includes tasks like picking up trash, raking leaves, and transplanting plants. The role also requires operating various equipment including tractors, bush hogs, power mowers, chainsaws, and blowers. Additionally, the position involves maintaining and repairing facilities and playground equipment, applying pesticides and insecticides, and assisting in the storage and movement of parks equipment. The employee will prepare reports related to equipment and work performed and may be required to perform related work as needed.
