About The Position

The Landscape Construction Crew Member is responsible for working as a team member under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager. You will be responsible for performing Landscape maintenance and installation services throughout Des Moines and surrounding areas while working in an efficient manner, promoting job worksite safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibiting pride and quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Report for duty at designated location on time each day
• Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain one
• Participate in weekly Safety Tailgate meetings and comply with all safety rules and company safety policies
• Follow directions from Landscape Foreperson and Supervisor

• Ability to endure repetitive twisting and bending motions

• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Foreperson and team members
• Complete hardscaping, general landscaping, and other various tasks
• Represent the company's best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism
• Assist Foreperson in maintaining a clean and safe jobsite
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles
• Perform physically demanding work including heavy lifting on a daily basis
• Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality
• Attend training classes and educational seminars as requested by management
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
