About The Position

Leapfrog Landcare is hiring a Landscape Crew Leader to help us deliver high-quality landscape services to our residential and commercial clients. You will oversee a small crew, complete hands-on landscape work, and ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Our ideal candidate has experience in landscaping, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in creating clean, beautiful outdoor spaces. Training and support are provided to help you succeed in the role and grow your leadership skills.

Requirements

Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience required.
Prior crew lead or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing manual labor.
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a landscape crew on daily job assignments.
Perform hands-on landscape tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, pruning, and seasonal cleanups.
Review job plans, delegate tasks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Operate and maintain landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and management.
Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.
Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicles in clean working condition.
