About The Position

Landscape Coordinator, Kohler Hospitality Work Mode: Onsite Location: Kohler, WI SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Perform All duties of the position of Landscape Technician III (available during interview) Assists with leading their designated team including hiring/recruiting, career development/mentoring, training and development of technical skills, and safety program awareness. Supports plant maintenance, installation, and general appearance of the Kohler Hospitality and Real Estate Properties, Corporate Properties, other Kohler-owned properties, and residential properties. Assists in the maintenance and inventory of specific equipment and tools. Support their Supervisor with cost estimates, coordination, scheduling, execution of installation and subsequent maintenance of landscape projects. Helps supervise landscape personnel in the winter season to accomplish snow removal and de-icing activities, along with meeting standard operating procedures for all Kohler Company properties. Also, with the other Landscape managers and their assistants, helps coordinate snow removal teams and order and maintain snow removal materials and equipment. Help maintain the inventory of topsoil, mulch, firewood and other landscape materials and supplies. Help maintain the compost and brush bins, and 4th Nine disposal site, which may include working with outside contractors for periodic disposal of materials. May help coordinate subcontractors working on Kohler Company arboriculture projects. Observe all written standard operating procedures to provide a safe working environment for self, other associates, guests and the general public. In the absence of the associate’s supervisor, this position will assume supervisory responsibilities of the specific departmental team. Performance of other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position with shifts varying between 6:30 am and 3:45 pm. Skills/Requirements High school education or equivalent with working knowledge of specific discipline’s practices College degree preferred, specifically Associate Degree in Horticulture or similar discipline. Field experience in related industry will also be considered Minimum of 2 years experience in landscape Previous supervisory or leadership experience required, including strong leadership ability and excellent communication skills.1-2 years previous supervisory experience preferred Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, Excel, and Power Point applications. Must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License Must possess or have the ability to obtain a category 3.0 WDATCP pesticide applicators certificate within 3 months of hire Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 1 year of employment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent with working knowledge of specific discipline’s practices
