About The Position

The Landscape Construction Estimator at Twin Resources, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the estimating process for various construction projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage project documentation effectively. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction estimating and be able to work collaboratively within a high-performance team.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Residential or Commercial Building.
• 5+ years' experience in construction cost estimating for projects ranging from $250,000 to over $10,000,000.
• Ability to quickly read and understand blueprints/plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel knowledge required.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work within tight deadlines and thrive under pressure.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• Experience in construction estimating (5 years preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the estimating process for assigned projects.
• Reading and interpreting construction plans, with familiarity in rooftop amenity space construction being a plus.
• Understanding scope requirements for complete bid packages.
• Managing project documentation including RFIs and submittals.
• Preparing takeoffs and itemized, color-coded plans in AutoCAD.
• Tracking bid proposals from subcontractors or specified vendors independently.
• Evaluating subcontractor proposals to ensure inclusion of all required items.
• Assembling project scope into final proposal and contract documents.
• Creating a turnover package for the Project Management Department upon project award.
