Landscape Construction Estimator

About the position

The Landscape Construction Estimator will guide customers through the estimating process, ensuring an accurate, efficient, and positive experience. This role involves collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal teams to prepare timely and competitive estimates, negotiate pricing, and finalize contract proposals. The estimator will stay updated on products, building techniques, and subcontractor pricing to offer cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage bid processes, create accurate estimates, and prepare proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and production teams on pricing and material availability.
• Ensure timely and accurate bid submissions, meeting profit margin goals.
• Present contracts and value-engineering options to clients.
• Maintain accurate project records and customer data.
• Continuously seek process improvements and new product opportunities.

Requirements

• Three years’ experience estimating or related area
• Experience in landscape design, construction, masonry, or hardscaping preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with landscape construction tools a plus.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $40,000 to $75,000 - dependent on experience
• Minimum of 40 hours a week with opportunity for overtime
