The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Landscape Architecture Intern to join our Jacksonville office. This internship provides students with hands-on experience in a professional design environment. You’ll work alongside experienced landscape architects, planners, and engineers while contributing to meaningful projects that shape communities. What You’ll Do: As a Landscape Architecture Intern, you will support project teams through concept development, design documentation, research, and graphic production. You’ll gain exposure to real-world project workflows and learn how landscape architecture integrates with civil engineering, planning, and architecture disciplines.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Landscape Architecture.
  • Strong interest in site design, master planning, and community-focused projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong graphic and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SketchUp preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of landscape architectural plans, renderings, and construction drawings.
  • Support site analysis, due diligence research, and master planning efforts.
  • Contribute to graphic presentations, including plans, sections, elevations, and visualizations.
  • Assist with planting plans, hardscape detailing, and material research.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with engineers, architects, and planners.
  • Support coordination with local jurisdictions, agencies, and consultants as needed.
  • Apply firm standards, guidelines, and project-specific requirements under supervision.
