About The Position

Hatch is seeking a Landscape Architect to join its Boston team, focusing on sustainable landscape design and green infrastructure projects. The role involves supporting interdisciplinary design efforts, managing tasks, and producing construction documents for various site development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sustainable design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Five-plus (5+) years of landscape architectural design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM 360, ProjectWise, Revit, Bluebeam, Sketchup, Illustrator.
• Knowledge and experience with LEED® and SITES® rating systems.
• Strong knowledge of native plants.

Responsibilities

• Support the interdisciplinary design team in planning, designing, permitting, and overseeing construction on various site development and green infrastructure projects.
• Manage tasks by planning, organizing, coordinating, reviewing the work of junior staff, estimating manpower needs, and scheduling work to meet completion dates.
• Oversee the preparation of Contract Documents.
• Assist in the development of Construction Documents.
• Produce illustrative graphics, 3-D models, presentations, and renderings.
• Conduct construction oversight and field investigations.
