About The Position

Our services include Civil, Environmental, Structural and Marine Engineering; Land Surveying; Land Planning; Landscape Architecture; Geographic Information Systems and Construction Administration. We are currently seeking a motivated Landscape Architect to join our team in either our Chamblee (Atlanta) office or Buford, Georgia office. This role involves establishing, leading, and growing a team in our Atlanta office. As a member of our landscape architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include project management, which encompasses coordination with clients, design teams, permitting jurisdictions, and contractors. The role will also involve design tasks, including schematic design, design development, and construction-level documentation. The preparation of construction plans will include planting and hardscape plans and details, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates, and permit applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in our fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused practice. Job duties will include master planning through detailed design activities as both a project manager and project contributor, mentoring and providing technical oversight of junior and mid-level staff, and engaging in business development activities such as networking, proposal preparation, interviewing, and negotiating fees. The preparation and review of deliverables, including reports, cost estimates, renderings, plans, and specifications, will also be part of the role. Miscellaneous tasks may be required to assist the project team, along with other duties as assigned.
