About The Position

Requirements

• A bachelor's or higher-level degree in landscape architecture.
• A Landscape Architect's License from any state or political subdivision of the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Proof of passing any two sections of the Landscape Architect Registration Exam (LARE).

Responsibilities

• Provide Landscape Architectural design for wetland enhancements and wetland creations.
• Prepare landscape architectural renderings and presentations for public meetings.
• Organize and facilitate public meetings, workshops, and hearings.
• Evaluate potential impacts to New York State Department of Transportation property by projects proposed by other agencies.
• Provide technical advice to various managers and staff in the areas of landscape architecture and design compliance.
