Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Professional license or registration (RLA/PLA).
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in landscape architecture design and project management.
• Experience with various project types (e.g., parks, commercial, master planned communities, etc.)
• Experience with the entitlement process and site planning.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Experience with project budgeting and cost estimation.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
• Experience with sustainable design principles and practices.
• Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of landscape architects.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must submit a portfolio that accurately represents experience and understanding of the design process, including built projects photos, presentation graphics, and other design materials that represent skill set.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of landscape architects by providing guidance and support throughout all project phases to produce high-quality, innovative, and sustainable designs.
• Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project designs.
• Build and nurture client relationships, including networking, preparing proposals, interviewing, and negotiating fees.
• Prepare and deliver project proposals, presentations, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Effectively manage project budgets and timelines.
• Continuously improve project processes and techniques.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure team member growth and development.
