About The Position

River Heights Outdoor Solutions is hiring for a Landscape Architect - Licensed to join our growing Design & Sales team.
River Heights Outdoor Solutions began in a small garage in South Minneapolis in 2007. We have the knowledge and skills to tackle any landscape project, and the commitment to excellence to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
We offer a competitive base salary of $100,000 - $130,000 annually (depending on experience), performance-based incentives, medical coverage; PTO; profit sharing bonuses; company cell phone. Additionally, we’re open to discussing relocation assistance for qualified candidates excited to make a move.

Requirements

• Licensed Landscape Architect with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong plant knowledge and a passion for high-quality, sustainable design.
• Experience working with high-end residential clientele and a proven ability to communicate vision and value.
• Sales experience and comfort leading client presentations and design consultations.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion.
• Ability to estimate landscape construction projects accurately and confidently.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Valid Landscape Architect license or evidence that licensure is in process (active application, exam scheduling, or state board documentation).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and sales process for high-end residential clients from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and site constraints.
• Prepare high-end residential landscape designs using Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion.
• Develop project proposals, generate estimates, and present them to clients.
• Coordinate with project managers, crew leads, and subcontractors to ensure accurate execution of the design intent.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project reviews.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support hand-off to operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
