Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college accredited program for Landscape Architecture.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.
  • MicroStation or AutoCAD skills desired.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and planning of outdoor spaces, preparing drawings, and working on project presentations.
  • Visit project sites to observe field conditions, assist in site measurements, and gather information for design projects.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Attend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the development of preliminary concept designs and submit them for approval.
  • Assist with the preparation of preliminary site plans, including base sheets, and submit them for approval.
  • Compare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct field construction observations and learn to prepare detailed reports of findings for review.
  • Conduct site visits to gather necessary data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs, as needed.
  • Draft accurate and visually appealing report graphics.
  • Compile and draft research summaries to support project development.
  • Obtain research materials from federal, state, and local agencies as required.
  • Plot the location of project sites and utilities.
  • Review shop drawings to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.
  • Complete other duties as required or assigned.
