About The Position

We’re seeking a reliable and safety-conscious General Laborer / Site Helper to support daily operations at our Heart of Florida Landfill. Prior experience in landfill or waste services is a plus—but we’re happy to train motivated candidates who are ready to learn and grow.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Basic computer skills (emailing, scanning documents)
• Ability to analyze routine situations and make sound decisions
• Strong work ethic and dependability

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in landfill or waste services

Responsibilities

• Perform general site and facility maintenance
• Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping
• Walk slopes and collect litter to maintain site cleanliness
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Receive training to operate heavy equipment and drive a semi tanker
