You will be joining the newly appointed VP of US Operations in working with huge exclusive clients, delivering results across the United States of America. We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our North American team supporting nationwide projects working with the latest technological advancements. As a Land Surveyor, you will perform precise land surveys using Total Station and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) to calculate robust survey control networks. You will conduct survey observations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data, working within the survey control network to provide accurate control points for laser scanning activities. Your role will involve ensuring all control points are meticulously placed and verified, undertaking both tripod-mounted and mobile mapping laser scanning operations, and focusing on large industrial facilities to ensure comprehensive data collection and registration. You will stake out high-accuracy points with precision, ensuring alignment with project specifications and tolerances. Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geographic information and survey data will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to process and present data effectively, implementing quality assurance protocols to maintain the highest standards of surveying accuracy and consistency. Preparing detailed survey reports and documentation to support project needs, coordinating fieldwork activities, and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and industry standards will also be essential. In this role, you will provide technical support to project teams, ensuring all surveying activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to integrate survey results into project plans, you will communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Maintaining a high level of detail consciousness in all aspects of work, from data collection to final reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and precision of all survey outputs will be critical. You will stay updated with the latest surveying technologies and methodologies and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
