About The Position

We are seeking a Land Surveyor to join our transportation department, focusing on transportation-oriented survey projects. This role involves both field and office survey tasks, utilizing advanced Trimble equipment such as SX10/SX12 total stations, R980/R12i GNSS, and TSC5/TSC7 data collectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing data, creating deliverables, and collaborating with teams across various offices to support transportation projects for WisDOT and local governments. Requirements

Associate's degree in Land Surveying or a related field
Experience working with robotic and GPS field survey equipment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Computer literacy, including use of relevant communication software
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Strong math and analytical skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel, including overnight, if needed
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer

Nice To Haves

Professional Land Surveying (PLS) License or ability to obtain in the future
Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level 1 or higher
AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
Trimble Business Center experience
Understanding of the WisDOT transportation design process
Experience with WisDOT fieldwork and deliverable creation
