About The Position
The Department of Public Works, Surveyor Division, is seeking part-time, temporary Land Surveyors to join the team. These positions will focus exclusively on the map check effort, reviewing and certifying maps to address the current backlog while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to essential survey functions and support the County's development initiatives. The Department of Public Works - Surveyor Division is dedicated to providing timely and accurate map and plan check services that facilitate controlled and efficient development. With specialized expertise in Mapping, Field Survey, GIS, and Survey Research, the division ensures precise boundary determinations, reliable geographic data, and well-documented land records.
