The Land Surveying Intern assists in conducting surveys and collecting field data for use in the engineering design and monitoring of NPPD facilities in addition to providing construction staking for various projects. The intern also assists in generating drawings, maps, plats, and legal documents, and assists in performing the computation of survey data to support design criteria. This position requires occasional overnight travel to be discussed during the interview process. This position can support up to 20-30 hours per week during the school year, depending on student availability, and 40 hours per week when school is not in session.
