About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Land Surveying Crew Chief. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in all aspects of the Land Surveying discipline. The position involves conducting field surveys with a small crew, focusing on topographic, boundary, construction layout, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, ensuring high detail and accuracy in surface features and underground utility assessments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience as a survey crew chief.
• 1+ year of experience using AutoCAD, with additional experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• A clean driving record.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Technical writing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• FAA Part 107 Pilot's License is a plus.
• Familiarity with terrestrial LiDAR scanning and techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct field surveys with a crew of 1-2 people.
• Perform topographic, boundary, construction layout, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys.
• Ensure a high level of detail and accuracy in documenting surface features and underground utilities.
• Reduce errors and maintain precision in survey data collection.
