About being our Project Manager - Land Survey As our Project Manager - Land Survey , you will be responsible for staff management and project oversight across various areas, including: Transportation Design, Right of Way Engineering and Mapping, design surveys, construction, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Mapping, Boundary Resolution, Records of Survey, Legal Description preparation, and GPS Control Surveys.

Requirements

  • Licensed Land Surveyor in California
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible Land Survey & Mapping experience in transportation is a plus!
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Proficient in industry standard software and management tools such as: AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, Microsoft Office, Teams
  • Familiarity with state and county mapping requirements

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible Land Survey & Mapping experience in transportation is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management, technical oversight, and strategic direction, while accomplishing the strategic marketing plan objectives and achieving performance and profitability targets
  • Prepare scopes of work with associated fees and schedules, negotiate contracts including additional services, prepare presentations, proposals, respond to RFP's and RFQ's, and assist with recruiting, retention, and interviews
  • Use your knowledge of land surveying/mapping to support the technical work of other surveyors, CAD drafters, and sub-consultants
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff members, fostering their professional growth
  • Cultivate and sustain industry client relationships within the Southern California market
