About The Position

The Administrator will be assigned to one or more projects. The Administrator must have an understanding of the oil & gas leasing and solar operations, timelines, and project requirements with minimal training.

Requirements

  • Ability to plan and organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work well under pressure without supervision.
  • Possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and good analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (i.e. Word and Excel).
  • Database experience with the ability to learn Percheron's NSite database and client databases.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager.
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and the Company's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Digitizing geographic data from hardcopy or scanned images into vector data.
  • Creating professional maps from preliminary data.
  • Developing routes based on desktop review, identifying structures, potential encroachments, permits, etc.
  • Data entry and records updates into the Percheron project database.
  • Creating data deliverables such as KMZ's, shapes, geodatabase, reports, etc.
  • Utilizing discretion in the creation of deliverables for business units.
  • Managing the number of property tracts per client/internal protocols.
  • Converting/transforming Lat/Long Data.
  • Mapping leases from internal and external sites.
  • Working efficiently under pressure with constant deadlines.
  • Working effectively on projects simultaneously.
  • Plotting legal descriptions and boundaries.
  • Performing standard spatial analysis such as buffering, intersects, selections, etc.
  • Working with minimum supervision and assisting other technicians as needed.
  • Interfacing directly with the field as needed and implementing operating policies.
  • Evaluating project and client GIS needs and utilizing independent judgment for decision-making.
  • Making independent judgments/decisions.
  • Collaborating with GIS Tech 1 as needed or instructed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned or required.
