About The Position
In partnership with the Division President or VP Land Acquisition, the Director or Manager of Land Acquisition is responsible for the daily operations of the Land Acquisition Department and activities geared toward profitability and efficiency. This role implements department policy and facilitates the creation of action plans to achieve specific results. Responsible for the following acquisition processes: land analysis, negotiations, relationship management, purchase agreements, and land packages. For smaller divisions, this role will manage employee staffing, development and retention.
